AmCham BiH takes an active and leading role in promoting business standards and principles: first, by adopting its own code of business practices; second, by encouraging AmCham BiH members to adopt their own codes of business practice; and third, by organizing programs and events that foster Ethics and Compliance. It is fundamental to the philosophy of the AmCham BiH that good ethics and good business are synonymous.
AmCham BiH in regard with all of the above created a new Committee named Ethics and Compliance Committee. The principal role of the Ethics and Compliance Committee is to utilize the process of eradicating the culture of corruption and other negative business practices that handicaps economic the BiH growth, rule of law, and obstructs domestic and foreign investment by mobilizing leaders of integrity from the business, public, and civil society sectors to create a healthy, fair play market environment.
