The American Chamber of Commerce in BiH warned that the registering, importing, and distributing debatable drugs in Bosnia and Herzegovina will create a serious threat to citizens’ health and health systems within BiH .


The import and distribution of medicines classified as incomparable biological medicine that do not meet the WHO criteria, nor the criteria of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), can pose a risk to patients’ health in BiH, as compared to those registered reference biological drugs are not a cure “.


First and foremost, the American Chamber of Commerce in BiH supports all professional-led processes aimed at ensuring the quality and availability of proven medicines to all patients in BiH.


It also supports the activities of its members, which seek to improve and align BiH’s health sector with EU and world best practices.


One of the most important roles of AmCham BiH is to work with members to create collective views of the business community on barriers to business in BiH, which is implemented through various committees within the chamber.
