AmCham BiH supported the amendment of the BIT Alliance on the proposal of the Law on Contributions of FBiH. In a letter written to the FBiH Parliament, we stated that we believe that state intervention of the FBiH Contribution Law is necessary to improve working conditions and prevent the departure of highly skilled labor from BiH, especially in the expanding and competitive industries segment.
BIT Alliance, an organization that brings together 60 of the largest IT companies employing more than 3,000 highly qualified individuals, has tabled an amendment to the Federal Parliament, which is set to adopt these legal solutions in the coming period.
Article 17 of the Proposal for a Contribution Law seeks to exclude workers employed in the IT industry who are paid a monthly salary in excess of the average net salary in the Federation of BiH.
AmCham BiH supports the amendment because for the companies assembled in their membership a stable and sustainable development of the IT sector is of enormous importance, given that this sector is one of the key drivers of the European economy.
