The newly appointed Economic Chief for the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Eric Camus, met the members of the AmCham BiH Board of Governors and the AmCham BiH executive office during the August Board of Governors meeting.
Mr. Eric Camus is the Economic Chief for the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, prior to this he was Deputy Coordinator for Economic and Development Assistance at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. Eric has spent much of his career working on Iraqi issues including serving as acting Deputy Director in the office of Iraqi Affairs, Deputy Political/Economic Chief at the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, Iraq and environment, science, and technology officer at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. He also served at the U.S. embassy in La Paz, Bolivia and the U.S. consulate general in Monterrey, Mexico.
The meeting highlighted the continued cooperation between the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo and AmCham BiH. One of the topics of the agenda of the 14th BoG meeting was the organization of the AmCham BiH Luncheon in September with H.E. Eric Nelson U.S. Ambassador to BiH as the guest speaker.
