AmCham BiH held a presentation on the subject of the General System of Preferences (GSP) in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in BiH and USAID WHAM project. During the presentation the attendees heard more about the products covered by GSP as well as the procedure of adding products to the list that can be imported into the U.S. from BiH under preferential terms. For BiH, 3500 products are allowed to be exported to the United States without a customs duty.
The GSP program is the first of its kind in BiH and is the best way to promote the benefits for local companies that would like to partner with U.S. companies.
