Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) and the American Chamber of Commerce in BiH (AmCham BiH) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation defining areas and activities of mutual interest for signatories of the memorandum, primarily in the area of ​​prevention of corruption. The memorandum was signed by Srdjan Blagovcanin, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Transparency International BiH, and Kenan Karcic, President of the AmCham BiH Board of Governors.


In the forthcoming period, TI BiH and AmCham BiH will strive to intensify cooperation with the private sector in order to overcome the obstacles of corruption for successful business operations. Bearing in mind the importance of strengthening ethics and integrity in the private sector, TI BiH and AmCham BiH will endeavor to establish and develop cooperation with the private sector in order to improve the business environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to the development of long-term mutual cooperation in the area of ​​prevention and fight against corruption, these two organizations will intensify exchange of knowledge and experience on the challenges faced by the business community, and develop possible solutions in this respect.


Through joint cooperation, TI BiH and AmCham BiH will work on strengthening the principles of transparency, ethics, integrity and openness in the business community, and improving corporate governance and ethical business.
