At the General Assembly of AmCham BiH, held on May 23rd 2018, AmCham BiH members chose the new Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in BiH, for the term of two years (2018 – 2020). There were thirteen nominees, and the company members elected seven new members of the BoG.


In accoradnce with the AmCham BiH Statute new elected Governing Board met and held its first meeting on May 28th, where they passed the decision on the distribution of duties, guided by the number of votes won at the Assembly, as follows: Kenan Karčić, Senior Account Manager ORACLE BH is elected President of the BoG. In the new composition, the 1st Vice President will be Haris Pinjo, Managing Director of CISCO SYSTEMS, while Boro Mioč, ERKONA’s General Manager, is the 2nd Vice President of the AmCham BiH Board of Governors. Four BoG members without special title are: Mirha Hasanbegović, Executive Director – Management Board Member of the RAIFFEISEN BANK BH, Amina Karić, Vice President of Operations AUTHORITY PARTNERS, Mr. Mirza Bavčić, Managing Director EXPRESS COURIER- ASC FOR UPS and Mr. Admir Drinić, CEO TELEMACH.


AmCham BiH will continue to promote economic cooperation between the United States of America and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the help of the new Board Governors who will play a key role in the further positioning of the American Chamber of Commerce in BH as a leading independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization that is fully dedicated towards enhancing the interests of both American and other foreign and domestic companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, all with a view to improving the business environment in BiH and promoting high standards of commercial practice.
