The art of business, entrepreneurial thought and skills for the future and the art of creating smart cities were the themes of this years Banja Luka Tech Summit, which was held on the 12th and 13th of April in Banja Luka.
Banja Luka Tech Summit is a gathering of eminent regional and world speakers and entrepreneurs from the technological and other sectors who shared with the participants of the Summit their experiences and global perspectives in the fields of technology, entrepreneurship, modern skills, business art and so on. The organizer of the event was the organization WorldChicago, which facilitates cooperation between people in all areas in order to enhance security, economic development and social justice. Pegi Parfenof, Director of WorldChicago, expressed delight with the response of those interested in this gathering.
“There are a large number of people in Banja Luka who are really interested in entrepreneurship and are doing something in this case,” she said.
Igor Pandžić, a project associate at the Banja Luka Regional Economic Chamber, says that there are opportunities and a potential for technology development in these areas, and that there is a set of opportunities to see examples of good practices.
The Banja Luka Tech Summit was organized with the aim to foster the ambience for growth and development of entrepreneurship in the Balkan region. The Partners of the Banja Luka Tech Summit were Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United States, the American Chamber of Commerce in BiH, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka, the Career Development Center, the LANACO and the Qlab Open Space.
