The Leader Roots Alumni Club held a new educational workshop titled ROOTSHIFT, designed for program alumni who continue to develop their leadership capabilities beyond the formal program cycle. The workshop was led by Samira Nuhanović and Miralem Mašić, with a focus on understanding organizational change and the role of leaders in guiding people through complex and uncertain environments.

During the workshop, participants explored topics related to leadership and change, how teams experience change, the factors that influence performance during such periods, and deeper, systemic transformations—often described as changes to an organization’s “DNA.” Through a combination of discussion, analysis, and reflection, participants examined how change manifests in everyday work and how leaders can identify the real drivers of resistance, stagnation, or progress.

The workshop was designed to provide participants with a practical framework for understanding their own impact within organizational systems, as well as space to reflect on personal patterns of action during times of change. The final reflective segment focused on connecting insights from the workshop to participants’ professional contexts, reinforcing the role of the Leader Roots Alumni Club as a community committed to continuous learning, reflection, and action.
