CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AmCham BiH), Nedim Hamzić, held a working meeting with the Director of the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton (ZZO KS), Muamer Kosovac, at which initiatives and projects aimed at improving the quality, efficiency and transparency of the healthcare system were discussed.

During the meeting, the possibilities of improving cooperation between public institutions and the business community were discussed, as well as the inclusion of the private sector in the processes of modernization and digitalization of healthcare.

“AmCham BiH supports digitalization, greater transparency and efficiency in the healthcare sector. Cooperation with the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton is an important step towards a more modern and fairer healthcare system for all citizens,” said Nedim Hamzić, Director of AmCham BiH.

The Director of the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton, Muamer Kosovac, emphasized the importance of cooperation with organizations that promote responsible, efficient and sustainable business, and emphasized that joint initiatives with the business community contribute to better accessibility and quality of healthcare services for insured persons in the Sarajevo Canton.

The meeting was held ahead of the AmCham Healthcare as an Investment conference, which will bring together representatives of institutions, healthcare facilities and the private sector with the aim of strengthening the dialogue on investments and innovations in healthcare.

The signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between AmCham BiH and the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton was also announced, which will formalize the partnership and enable further cooperation with the private sector on improving healthcare services in the Sarajevo Canton.
