The American Chamber of Commerce in BiH (AmCham BiH) and the Competition Council of BiH have signed a Cooperation Agreement, opening a new chapter in strengthening ties between institutions and the business community. Through this agreement, both parties committed to jointly promoting competition rules, raising awareness about market abuses, and providing guidance to companies on responsible and fair business conduct.

The agreement was signed by Ninela Salihbašić, President of the Competition Council, and Nedim Hamzić, Executive Director of AmCham BiH, who jointly emphasized the importance of this step in building trust and integrity within the Bosnian market. This cooperation creates a framework where businesses will gain better insight into the Council’s mandate and operations, as well as receive practical support in identifying and preventing irregularities.

Following the signing, a meeting was held to discuss upcoming joint activities. It was agreed that the cooperation will focus on enhancing transparency, sharing expertise, and raising awareness of the importance of competition protection as a cornerstone of fair market practices in BiH.
