This year, Bosnia and Herzegovina marks three decades since the introduction of the 387 barcode, a global symbol of efficiency and product identification. We are also celebrating 30 years of GS1 Bosnia and Herzegovina, the only organization authorized to implement GS1 standards in the country.
In honor of this anniversary, in partnership with GS1 Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are organizing the 9th GS1 Conference, under the slogan:
“30 years of leadership in innovation and digital transformation”
Conference focus
More than 300 participants from the economy, technology, logistics, trade, institutions and academia will discuss:
- ESG regulations (CBAM, CSDDD)
- Biodesign and sustainable production
- Electronic fiscalization and e-invoices
- Electronic data interchange (EDI) and interconnections
- Textile industry development strategy and digital product passports
- Old and new generation barcodes (GS1 2D)
The program includes thematic panel discussions, presentations of innovations from Austria and Italy, as well as the awarding of the Digital Excellence Award. The event is intended for companies of all sizes that want to improve their business through standardization and new technologies.
