At the General Assembly of the American Chamber of Commerce in BiH (AmCham BiH) held on September 30, 2022 in Sarajevo, member companies elected three new members of the Board of Governers for a two-year term. Newly elected members are Hajdi Mostić, CCO Telemach BH, Alen Husić, Technology Sales Executive at Oracle BH, and Damir Dizdarević, Director of Logosoft, renewed his mandate.

At the General (Election) Assembly the activities and results of AmCham BiH's work in the past period were presented, and the President of the Board of Governors, Amina Karić and Secretary General, Nedim Hamzić, addressed representatives of the Chamber's members and welcomed them. 

In his speech, U.S. Ambassador Michael J. Murphy emphasized the importance of AmCham in creating a stable, predictable and attractive business environment. "I am grateful, like many of you, that we got together in person this year. I always appreciate the opportunity to engage in AmCham that is doing so much to improve business environment, create new jobs, and develop econoic opportunities here in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Ambassador Michael J. Murphy also stated.

General Secretary of AmCham BiH Nedim Hamzić expressed satisfaction that AmCham BiH managed to implement its program and planned activities and events. "It is particularly pleasing to see the debut of the Leader Roots program, which recognizes and provides opportunities for personal development to the next generation of leaders, but connecting businesses will continue to be one of the primary goals of our Chamber. In addition to seeking ways to further promote trade between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina, AmCham BiH promises to actively continue to create an environment where creativity, efficiency, innovation and entrepreneurship are respected. Using the ICT environment and human resources in development in BiH, AmCham BiH should focus on committee work, cooperation with all levels of government, and continue to launch initiatives that will serve as a foundation for improving the business climate," said Nedim Hamzić.

The committees will continue to work with the competent authorities with the help of members of the Board of Directors to promote reforms that improve the BiH business community.
