An executive delegation of AmCham representatives in Europe is attending the annual US Conference 2022 to be held from 9 to 13 May. CEOs and other AmCham representatives from more than 30 countries gathered as a delegation in the U.S. capital, Washington D.C., and Raleigh, North Carolina.

The main topics of this year's conference are the transatlantic economy and trade, current political events and the Russian-Ukrainian war. AmCham officials will also discuss energy, financial and digital issues.

The Secretary General, Nedim Hamzić, representing AmCham BiH, attended the meetings with of the Department of Commerce,  executive vice president and head of the International Affairs Division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – Myron Brilliant, the United States Deputy Secretary of State – Wendy Ruth Sherman, Ambassador of BiH to the UN – Sven Alkalaj, APTCO Worldwide, United States Trade Representative, as well as others who are actively working to improve business between the US and the EU.  

Mr. Hamzić attended desk officers meeting for Western Balkans as well. 

Also, he held a meeting with Mr. Emin Čohodarević, Minister Counselor at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and discussed the improvement of cooperation and work on the exchange of information on opportunities for new investments. We thank Mr. Čohodarević for his cooperation and excellent support.
