American Chamber of Commerce Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy Sarajevo designed AmCham BiH visa program for qualified member companies of AmCham BiH to timely and comfortably apply for U.S. business visas for their BiH staff.
The goal of this program is to improve investment and exchange between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States of America by facilitating the visa application process.
Business Visa Program (BVP) offers AmCham BiH guidance through the visa application process for all members that have paid their 2022 membership dues in full.
The application process starts with mailing amcham@amcham.ba or couriering the following to AmCham BiH:
- A completed application form for your company (AmCham BVP Application Form)
- A sample of your business letterhead with original signatures of the BVP signatory and any back-up signatories.
After gathering and completing required documents (please find the instruction below), the next step is emailing amcham@amcham.ba to book your appointment.
Eligibility
All AmCham members that have paid their 2022 membership dues in full can apply for access to the BVP throughout 2022.
Once approved, BVP benefits may be used by:
- Owners and employees traveling on business who have worked at least 3 months at the approved organization;
- The spouses and children under 18 years of age of owners/employees (note: they must apply at the same time).
Applying for visas through the BVP does not guarantee issuance or approval of visas. Visa eligibility decisions rest solely with the interviewing Consular Officer at the U.S. Embassy Sarajevo.
Application Process
Mail or courier the following to AmCham BiH:
- A completed application form for your company (below)
- A sample of your business letterhead with original signatures of the BVP signatory and any back-up signatories.
BVP approval is subject to due diligence security checks conducted by U.S. Embassy staff. The Embassy may require additional documentation from you for this purpose and reserves the right to withhold approval until all due diligence is conducted.
AmCham will notify you when a decision on your acceptance to the program has been made by the U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section.
