Last week, the first Diabetes Forum was organized by the Embassy of Denmark in the Sarajevo City Hall. The forum was organized under the theme "Economic implications of diabetes" with the intention of pointing out the cost of this disease and the economic impact on health systems as well as on individuals and their families.
AmCham BiH, along with the Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Novo Nordisk, was a partner in this event, and on that occasion, the Secretary General of AmCham BiH, Nedim Hamzić, addressed the participants.
The aim of the Forum is to establish a multidisciplinary platform for key stakeholders and decision makers involved in public finance and public policy making, endocrinologists, health professionals and patient associations to share experiences and best practices in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Denmark.
