On Thursday, 16 September, 2021 AmCham BiH held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Federation of BiH, at the initiative of the AmCham BiH Tax, Legal & Regulatory Committee. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Committee and the AmCham BiH Secretary General, Nedim Hamzić.
We thank Nadina Hodžić (Ernts & Young), president of the Committee, Adnan Bahtanović (Deloitte) and Emir Ibisević (Deloitte) for their active participation and attendance at the meeting, as well as KPMG and other members who contributed to the drafting of the set of questions and clarification requirements on these two laws:
- Law on Accounting and Auditing of FBiH and
- Law on Income Tax of FBiH.
Given the interest and challenges that members and all other companies in FBiH face in practice, and we saw this especially through the experience during the pandemic, we are aware of the necessary changes in our legal framework, and consequently in the processes in the real sector.
We have initiated a dialogue on these laws and received clarifications and answers to questions and dilemmas from practice.
