The American Chamber of Commerce
in BiH has undergone certain internal changes in its structure and organization
in the past period. In addition to the refreshed and redefined mission and
vision of AmCham BiH as well as the new strategic approach, all with the aim of
bolder and stronger positioning of AmCham BiH in the public sphere of Bosnia
and Herzegovina and the region, AmCham BiH elected a new Secretary General, Mr.
Nedim Hamzic.
Nedim joined the American Chamber
of Commerce in BiH, where he will successfully serve as Head of the Executive
Office AmCham in BiH. His previous position was Head of Management Systems and
Public Relations in Lottery BiH. Nedim will gladly apply
his acquired knowledge as the new Secretary General of the American Chamber of
Commerce in BiH. Namely, Nedim completed his Master’s degree of Business
Administration at the University of Indianapolis in USA. During the nine years
of work in Lottery of BiH, he was the leader of numerous tasks in managing
various projects and skillfully implemented management systems for managing
standards and developed cooperation with key stakeholders such as the
Government of FBiH, the Federal Ministry of Finance, the FBiH Tax
Administration and many other other local organizations and collaborative
companies. Among other things, Nedim gained international accreditation as a
keynote speaker at business conferences in Madrid and London.
Nedim Hamzić, as the new
Secretary General, stated: “In the future activities of AmCham BiH with the
most important partner, the US Embassy and the new Board of Directors, we will
actively work on developing and strengthening the voice of expert committees
operating within the Chamber, with which we plan to hold round tables and
conferences that will improve BiH's business climate through a number of fields
of action. We will place special emphasis on the development of a platform for
young leaders and managers and training programs for their development. All the
projects we will work on will be directly aimed at creating additional benefits
for our members. "
