Can you briefly introduce the Muehlbauer Group and its work in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
The Muehlbauer Group is a German high-tech company that has been developing innovative solutions in automated production for more than 40 years. Our subsidiary in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Muehlbauer d.o.o. Banja Luka, was founded in 2012, and since then has specialized in the production of personal identification documents and development in the fields of software engineering, electrical design and mechanical construction. Today, we employ more than 110 workers, and through our cooperation with state authorities, we have been providing the production of personal identification documents for the citizens of BiH for more than 10 years. Our mission is to provide innovative and high-quality solutions for the BiH market, but also beyond.
How did your company become a key partner for the production of personal identification documents in BiH?
Through many years of work, constant investments in technology and a focus on quality, we have managed to build strong trust with our partners. Our precision, speed and security in the production of personal identification documents have made us leaders in this market. We operate in accordance with the highest security standards, and our products, such as chip cards, passports and ID documents, are used throughout the country. We are proud to be a strategic partner of BiH, helping to improve the country's infrastructure.
Can you tell us more about the business lines and technologies that Muehlbauer brings to BiH?
Muehlbauer is a global leader in several key sectors. Our AUTOMATION line contributes to the development of Industry 4.0, which means that we implement advanced production systems that use digitalization and automation. Our team in Banja Luka is also actively researching and developing new technologies in the field of e-mobility and batteries through ATECH. Also, the TECURITY® line specializes in security systems, such as advanced identity verification systems, which are crucial for data protection and citizen safety.

The greatest success, without a doubt, is our ability to provide reliable, safe and quality solutions for the most demanding projects in BiH and around the world.
