Sarajevo 8th April 2015. – For the second time in a row, American Chamber of Commerce in BiH is a partner of the two-day national competition of one hundred high school students from across all of the BiH in entrepreneurship “Business Challenge “. This year just like last year, executive director of AmCham BiH Violeta Čibukčić was in the jury. Together with her colleagues she evaluated the teams that had the task to come up with the most creative business idea, when it comes to recycling.
Through the national competition “Business Challenge” students develop an awareness of business and entrepreneurship, as well as problem solving skills, teamwork, analytical thinking, presentation skills, and enhance self-confidence, in fact everything that is of great importance when they find themselves in the labour market. Thus, American Chamber of Commerce in BiH gladly and very often supports and takes part in these and similar events, because it recognizes the importance of such events, together with its members, who also were partners of the national competition “Business Challenge “.
So the AmCham BiH members: M:TEL and Coca Cola together with the Chamber and USAID Sida GOLD Project were partners of this years national competition, along with the silver partner TELEMACH, also a member of AmCham BiH .
Prizes for the best team in the form of five tablets were provided by M:TEL, AmCham BiH member. All of the three teams will, at the end of the month April, represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the regional competition in Montenegro where the entrepreneurial forces will gauge students from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and BiH.
